A washing machine with steam function has several advantages. For example, it reduces your ironing, freshens your clothes easily and quickly, it is more economical on your clothes, and your laundry is cleaned thoroughly and hygienically. Washing with steam is more hygienic because steam is able to penetrate deeper into the fibers of fabric than water can. With steam, you can kill bacteria better and get rid of allergies, such as pollen, animal hair and dust mites, better. Be aware, however, that not every washing machine with a steam function offers all these benefits. There are models that have a steam function for easier ironing, but no wash/steam program for hygienic washing.
