Fill Weight
How much laundry fits in the drum is determined by the fill weight of the washing machine. This is one of the most important aspects of a washing machine. If you buy a washing machine with too few kg of fill weight, you will have to wash much more often. If you buy a washing machine with too much fill weight, you’ll never get a full drum. In both cases, you’ll use a lot of water and energy unnecessarily. That’s why it’s recommended to buy a washing machine with a fill weight that matches the size of your household. For a household of 1 or 2 people, that’s 6 kg or 7 kg. For 3 or 4 people, we recommend 8kg. And if you have 5 people or more, we recommend 9kg or more. Samsung washing machines have a fill weight of between 7kg and 10.5kg.
Energy class
The energy class, also known as the energy label, of a washing machine indicates its energy efficiency. Energy-efficient washing machines have energy class A, B or C. The prices of these washing machines are often slightly higher, but they do cost you less in use. Besides being good for the environment, they also keep your energy bill down. RPM
The RPM of a washing machine shows how fast the drum spins during the spin. The more spins it makes, the drier your laundry will be from the drum. For the driest possible wash, choose a washing machine that makes 1600 rpm. There are some Samsung washing machines with 1600 rpm. However, there are more Samsung washing machines with 1400 rpm, which is also considered a high rpm. 1400 rpm is more than enough to let your laundry dry on the line afterwards.
Split noise level
Split noise level is an indication of how much noise a washing machine makes while spinning. All washing machines are divided into 4 categories: noise level loud (78 d or more), noise level normal (74 dB to 77 dB), noise level quiet (72 dB or 73 dB) and noise level extra quiet (71 dB or less). The majority of Samsung models fall under sound level silent and produce 73 dB.
