How to install a washer-dryer? (There is no need to hire someone else to install your washer-dryer – you can do that easily yourself.)
First of all, you should check that the installation site is the same size as the washer-dryer. In some cases you will need to increase the size of the opening slightly.
First, connect the washer-dryer as described in the instructions. You do this when the appliance is outside the built-in unit and then slide the washer-dryer into place. A built-in washer-dryer is always supplied with hinges to which you attach the door. Always follow the instructions supplied with the appliance. Make sure the door is lined up neatly with the other cabinets.
Finally, you also fit the magnet that secures the door to the washer-dryer. Make sure the magnet on the washer-dryer is at the same height as the one on the door to make sure the door stays closed.
First turn on the washing machine function to test the noise level, then do the same with the drying function. If the sound is still too loud, you can always choose to insulate the cabinet better.
